CHATHAM-KENT AREA GOLF COURSES

You are an avid golfer but unfortunately you are not yet in a position to go south for 6 months. You love the seasons but the area you live in just is not condusive to enjoy golfing as much as you would like.

Chatham-Kent is located in the middle of the Great Lakes and because of it's unique geography, experiences very mild temperatures. Here is Southwestern Ontario we are often referred to as the Banana Belt of Ontario. This allows for longer golfing seasons, usually 10 months of the year, a welcome addition to many areas whose seasons are short lived.

There are 9 Chatham-Kent area Golf Courses ranging from Public to Semi- Private and each individual course is uniquely designed with water traps and beautifully groomed fairways that require varying degrees of expertise. There is something for everyone, from the beginner to the skilled player. The Courses have fully licensed clubhouses with menus that incorporate many of the local produce and other flavors of the region. We have many local Wineries and Micro Breweries whose fares are included on some of the menus. Many feature patios which overlook the greens making that 19th hole a pleasurable way to end the day. Most also include fully stocked Pro Shops for all that essential Golfing Merchandise.

Chatham-Kent has one of the longest Golfing Seasons in Canada and the courses are kept in top notch condition with the greens and courses immaculately groomed long after some Canadian Courses are forced to close for the season.

 Area Courses include Links of Kent, Baldoon Golf Club, Willow Run in Blenheim, Country View Golf Course renamed Hidden Hills with new owners, Deer Run Golf Course, Ridgetown Golf Course and Country Club, Rolyn Trails and Talbot Trail Golf Club.
