The end of October marked the beginning of the 2020 Goodfellows Christmas Campaign. Enough toys to fill 11 floor totes, 100 boxes of non-perishable food and over $2000.00 in cash was collected at a drive-thru drop -off event. Many area residents showed their generosity even in these dificult time of Covid-19. The board of directors have made a siginificant change this year by raising the age limit for children receiving toys aand gifts up to 15 years old from 12. On-line applications for those applying for help can be found at their website or by calling 519-354-1146 The annual Porchlight campaign will be a little different ths year with the Covid restrictions. E-transfer is available for campaign donations and people are asked to turn on their porch lights to show support on November 30. Tim Mifflin of the Goodfellows said that this year's No Child Without a Christmas Campaign is more important than ever this year as we as a community strive to help those less fotunate in this difficult Covid Pandemic.
