Chatham-Kent’s Bloomfield Business Park to Embark on Phase2 CK Council has made the decision to award the nearly $2.4 million dollar contract for Phase 2 of the Bloomfield Business Park to Henry Heynink Construction. They presented the lowest bid which was within the approximate $2.1 million council budgeted for the project. The first phase of the Business park along Highway 401 was completed in 2005 and construction of this second phase was included in the 2020 capital budget. A staff based report said that future development has led to a need to expand the original site. Phase 2 will extent Prosperity Way to Seventh Line West with typical urban road cross-section including curb and gutter and reinforced asphalt pavement. This is good news for Chatham-Kent’s future.
